Adding sparkle to Twin Cities Fashion Week
In both Eastern and Western cultures, there are images of "fire gods" - Prometheus in the West and Zhu Rong in China. They gifted the power of fire to human beings, enabling them to develop, feel and create "beauty". This cultural design show is a highlight of this year's Twin Cities Fashion Week, as it skillfully integrates the "fire" of science and technology into fashion from the perspective of this common emotional bond. Based on this concept, curator Santucci fused Chinese art and design with the Florentine art of the Renaissance Medici family, presenting a visual feast entitled "Medici Taste and Technology Dialogue: Making the Extraordinary Everyday".
The exhibition space is divided into three dimensions. On the long wall, precious paintings from Santucci's collection are displayed; in the center, objects, technological products and materials selected by brands from Shenzhen, China, are gathered; and the main wall is draped with the latest collection of the Huifeng Foundation. The visible lines in the space subtly intertwine Chinese objects with Italian paintings, forming a unique spatial "spider web" and building a graphic ecology of dialog.
The main visual for the promotion of this year's Fashion WeekThe bottom picture is taken from the vintage paintings of Italian artist Pietro Dandini, and in the upper right corner of the picture is a dexterous hand of a robot from China, which is holding the hand in the bottom picture, not only showing the dialog between the two eras, but also the vivid interaction between the Chinese and Western cultures, which perfectly interprets the central expression of the whole fashion week! --The exchange and collision between the latest technological power led by Shenzhen and the traditional culture of Milan.

Although the road is far, but the line will come. What is also striking about this year's Twin Cities Fashion Week is the setting in which the exhibition is held. The exhibition is housed in a 350-square-meter pavilion in Milan's San Vittore church complex. Built in the 11th century, the Romanesque church, with its stately colonnade and exquisite frescoes, exudes a rich Western classical art atmosphere and carries a thousand years of rich historical heritage.

At the exhibition site, hundreds of products from Shenzhen shone with modern fashion, forming a strong visual contrast with the classical art space of the church, just like a dialog across time and space.
This strong contrast is the vein of Chinese and Western culture, the innovative and forward-looking fashion design, and the fusion of Milan and Shenzhen's artistic consensus - Shenzhen (Longhua)-Milan Bi-City Fashion Week: exploring new ways of expression, practicing fashion without boundaries.
