KUAVO
KUAVO, launched by Leju Robotics in 2023, is China's first humanoid robot capable of jumping and adapting to various terrains. It is powered by the Open-Source HarmonyOS. Standing at approximately 1.66 meters tall and weighing around 55 kilograms, KUAVO has over 40 degrees of freedom. It can achieve a maximum walking speed of 5 km/h and can jump continuously at a height of over 20 centimeters. KUAVO is equipped with fully open motion control and application development interfaces, as well as a comprehensive simulation platform. It is also integrated with Huawei Cloud Pangu and Doubao large models, which enhance its multimodal perception, complex task processing, and generalization capabilities. A total of 265 printmaking artists from countries such as the United States, Canada, Belgium, and from within China have taken up residence in the offices of this base. The artist, Peter Velikov, is one of the most talented and promising young artists in the Bulgarian printmaking community. He is highly skilled in etching, intaglio plate-making, and copperplate engraving. His primary printmaking techniques include etching, drypoint, and aquatint. His style is fully reflected in each of his works. His delicate craftsmanship depicts an extraordinary artistic conception as if in a dream, highlighting the gap between fantasy and reality.

The artist Ban Ling (1952-2024) dedicated her artistic career to printmaking, colored ink painting, illustration, and comics, combining Chinese tradition with Western influences. She has been awarded prestigious recognitions for her prints, such as the bronze medal at the National Art Exhibition, the silver medal at the National Printmaking Exhibition, and the Excellence Award at the Qingdao International Print Biennale. Many of her works have been selected for important national and international exhibitions. The Diary of Gannan was exhibited at the 90th-anniversary National Fine Arts Exhibition of the Communist Party of China, while The Abacus and the Treatise on Algorithms has been included in the permanent collection of the National Museum of China. The artist Hu Weiping (born 1956) is a printmaker deeply rooted in Huizhou culture, capable of integrating academic rigor with research. It is wrapped around the waist in layers, with abundant pleats throughout. The upper part of the skirt has regular, neat, and dense pleats, while the hem flares out like a trumpet flower, when walking.
The pleats spread out and shimmer, creating a beautiful and elegant appearance. The skirt is roughly divided into three sections: a dark blue waistband, the main body of the skirt, and the hem. The main body is made of chestnut-colored cotton fabric with fine pleats. The hem is adorned with red hand-stitched threads, which both secure the dynamic pleats and serve as decoration.
Note: The owner was the elder aunt of Wang Jiwan from the Anshun Batik Factory. In 1986, Wang Jiwan purchased this set of clothing from his 82-year-old aunt. His aunt was very fond of this set and was initially reluctant to sell it, but she eventually agreed after much persuasion from Wang Jiwan.

In the region, it is said that these motifs represent the scenery of the hometown and the migratory experiences of the ancestors, and that these motifs have a unique formal beauty as well as deep historical connotations.

Note:This piece was collected from Elder Wang Ayong in
Yuanjing Village, Paidiao District, Danzhai, Guizhou. The Bai Ling Miao skirts resemble Han-style skirts in shape but differ in patterns, similar to the skirts of the Shui people in Sanlong Village, Qiandongnan, Guizhou. This may reflect the influence of Han Chinese who migrated to the area.
